Washington announced Wednesday that QB Cyler Miles was reinstated to the team after he had been suspended for three months.

Miles was suspended after he was implicated in post-Super Bowl assaults in Seattle along with WR Damore’ea Stringfellow, who was also suspended. In Washington coach Chris Petersen's announcement that Miles was reinstated, he also said that Stringfellow would transfer.

The quarterback was never charged in the incidents, but Stringfellow was and pled guilty to three misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to five days on a work crew, ordered to attend anger management counseling and fined almost $700.

According to the Seattle Times, Stringfellow's attorney told a judge in April that he was “'backing up his quarterback' who is a 'staunch' Broncos fan." Miles is from Centennial, Colo. In pleading guilty, Stringfellow admitted to destroying a female victim's camera lens and "intentionally touching" her in a "harmful manner."

Miles is expected to be the starting quarterback for Washington this fall. He played in eight games last season and is in the only quarterback on Washington's roster who has thrown a pass in a game. He was 37-61 for 418 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in 2013 as Keith Price's backup. Stringfellow had 20 catches for 259 yards.
