T. Boone Pickens has some speed.
The 86-year-old Oklahoma State booster and businessman with his name on the school's football stadium responded to the workout video of President Obama in Poland with a video of his own Thursday, challenging the president to a one-hour workout.
While the president did have a well-documented smoking habit, his basketball games and his time spent on the elliptical help him when it comes to aerobic capacity. Pickens moves very well, much better than many people decades younger, but we're not sure his confidence is warrented, especially if his cardio is anything like his well documented wind-turbine plans.
But the challenge is fun to issue, especially since Pickens knows it won't be what gets him to seriously discuss the United States' energy policy.
