Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin and Johnny Manziel partied with Rick Ross in Miami, according to rapper Stalley

Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin is officially the coolest coach in America.

According to Stalley, a rapper based out of Ohio, Sumlin and former quarterback Johnny Manziel partied last winter in Miami with rapper Rick Ross.

“I don’t know if I should say this but...” Stalley began while chatting with Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard on their show Highly Questionable. “When (Manziel) was still at Texas A&M, (Rick) Ross had a party in Miami. I forget what it was for, maybe for the release of his album, it might have just been a party, and it was around the time when there was some bowl games going on. Johnny Manziel and his coach came to the party and they was just hanging out basically. It was a good time.”

Of course, the mention of Sumlin being at a party with famous rappers and renowned partier Johnny Manziel sparked all sorts of reactions from Jones and LeBatard, who asked for more details.

"Kevin was like, 'Yo man, I'm a big fan of you guys, MMG. I'm a big fan of Ross,'" Stalley said. "He was having a good time. We was all having a good time."

How good of a time?

“On a scale of 1-10, I would say a 15,” Stalley said. “(Sumlin) was pretty much the life of the party actually for me. He was the one that made me be like, ‘OK, it’s time to turn up in here.’”

We know it’s hard to keep up with Manziel’s personal life, but he did spend New Year’s Day in Miami with Drake. This was after Manziel led the Aggies to a come-from-behind win against Duke in the Chick-fil-A Bowl in what would be his final game as an Aggie.

However, this is the first we’ve heard of Sumlin doing any sort of partying with Manziel. A&M defensive back De’Vante Harris did call Sumlin the coolest guy on the team and this is just more evidence.

As Jones notes in the video, no wonder Sumlin keeps getting all these high-0level recruits.
