Northwestern seemed to have a little more fun this spring than everyone else.
At the conclusion of their spring practices this year, the Wildcats faced off in a dizzy bat race, an end-of-spring tradition in Evanston, Ill.
Players do 10 revolutions around a bat then have to sprint 10 yards to their teammate, which, as you can imagine isn't easy, and then that teammate does 10 revolutions and so on until the last player gets to the finish line and has to eat a hot dog.
This is the same team that brought us the lineman fielding punts, which was pretty hilarious. I'm just sad there weren't any potato sack or three-legged races.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure any of this will help the Wildcats actually win games in 2012, but hey, it's fun to watch.
