If you're confident you're one of the fastest players heading to the NFL in 2015, Adidas has a deal for you.
But we'll be up front with the hook before we explain the deal. It's only available to players who sign equipment deals with Adidas.
The shoe company is offering a custom Porsche 911 Carrera to the three fastest Adidas players in the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. Because fast players need fast cars, right? Behold the car, which you'll see has a distinct wrap on it:
Yes, there's synergy in the cheetah print on the car and Adidas' new shoe. The "Uncaged Adizero 5-Star 40 cleat" is the company's latest footwear. Adidas says that the shoes, at 4.7 ounces, are the lightest football cleats ever and can float on water. And lighter in the shoe world means faster. You wouldn't run a fast 40 with concrete blocks on your feet, right?
We'll see if any prospects take Adidas up on its offer. Our guess is that we won't see many lineman signing up for the deal in the hopes of a Porsche.
