Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs is a smart dude. When he’s not torching SEC defenses, the aerospace engineering student is doing some serious work in the classroom.
He also knows a thing or two about pi, the mathematical constant (that has been calculated to over ten trillion digits) that represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.
Pi rounds down to 3.14, so naturally Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 (3/14). To get in the Pi Day spirit, Dobbs was able to rattle off the first 48 (!!!) digits of pi off the top of his head.
Dobbs did the same thing last year, but was only able to rattle off the first 28 digits.
We expect this to be a thing for each year that Dobbs is at Tennessee.
