The Syracuse Orange unveiled brand new uniforms for the 2014 season last April, none of which were orange. It looks like that will change moving forward.
The program’s official football Twitter account tweeted out a photo of an orange jersey that the team will apparently wear in 2015. Take a look.
The weird tall and narrow numbers from last year’s design are still there, but at least this uniform corresponds with the team’s name. The color schemes are pretty sharp and it’s a solid and needed addition to the team’s uniform options.
The Orange (it’s still weird that they’re not the Orangemen anymore) are coming off a disappointing 3-9 record in 2014. Maybe we’ll get our first glimpse at the new orange jerseys in Syracuse’s April 4 spring game.
