Central Florida defensive back Chris Williams was treated for gunshot wounds early Saturday morning at a Florida hospital.
Per WFTV 9, Williams was shot around 1 a.m. at the King Tut's Lounge, a bar near UCF's campus in Orlando. According to UCFSports.com, Williams posted to Facebook that he was shot twice in the arm. His injuries aren't considered life-threatening.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Williams was shot following an argument. His injuries aren't considered life-threatening and a spokesperson told the Sentinel that coach George O'Leary was aware of what happened and had been in communication with Williams' mother.
Williams was a redshirt freshman in 2014. He was a three-star safety recruit from Kingsland, Georgia in the class of 2014.
