Marshall and receiver Angelo Jean-Louis have decided to part ways.
Coach Doc Holliday said in a press release Monday that it was best for the program.
There were no details as to what led to the separation, but Jean-Louis had been absent from fall camp.

As a redshirt freshman last year, Jean-Louis started eight games for the Thundering Herd and led the team with six receiving touchdowns, was second on the team with 23.3 yards per reception and third on the team with 490 receiving yards. He finished the year with 21 receptions and was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team.
Jean-Louis was a four-star recruit out of high school and a member of Miami’s 2012 class. However, he didn’t qualify academically and ended up at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia before signing with Marshall in December 2012. In April 2013, Jean-Louis was charged with two felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device after using a stolen credit card to make two purchases — $14 and $11 — at a local 7-Eleven. He missed that season due to NCAA transfer rules.
