The injury bug has struck TCU once again.
Receiver Ty Slanina suffered a broken collarbone during Saturday’s win against Texas Tech and will miss the rest of the season, coach Gary Patterson announced.
Everything happens for a reason, thank you everyone for the prayers.

Slanina caught two passes for 32 yards prior to his injury and had nine receptions for 102 yards. He was scheduled to undergo surgery Monday.

Sophomore receiver Emmanuel Porter also will miss a few weeks after being injured in the Tech game. He had one catch for 11 yards against the Red Raiders and four catches for 78 yards this season.
These injuries are just the latest for a Horned Frog team that has been ravaged by them already this season. TCU also will go into this week’s game against Texas missing six defensive starters.
