Notre Dame star wide receiver Will Fuller said Wednesday he's not planning on heading to the NFL after the season.
He mentioned his degree as a driving force in why he wanted to stay another season.
Fuller is a psychology major.
Fuller has 44 catches for 900 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2015. He's forged a strong connection with quarterback Deshone Kizer. Fuller caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Kizer against Virginia and Kizer found him for the game-winning score against Temple. Fuller has caught a touchdown in each of Notre Dame's games except for the one.
Perhaps not-so-coincidentally, the touchdown-free game was Notre Dame's 24-22 loss to Clemson.
Fuller had 76 catches for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2014 after having six catches in 2013. If and when he's drafted, he's a likely early-round pick in the NFL draft.
