Alabama's 2011 national championship season was unforgettable. So unforgettable that the university forgot (see what I did there) that it lost to LSU during the regular season.
A typo in this year's Alabama media guide, which was first snapped by Auburn fan weagleweagle on Reddit and authenticated by al.com, denotes a W next to the 9-6 loss to LSU. The overall record and the divisional records are correct, but apparently whoever proofread the media guide didn't want to recognize the initial loss to the Tigers.
It's funny Alabama would get that wrong considering the controversy it caused when they finished second in the BCS standings and earned a rematch, which they actually did win, to claim the national title.
