Indiana running back Jordan Howard will forgo his senior season and declare for the NFL draft, the school announced Monday.
Howard, a UAB transfer, played one season with the Hoosiers and rushed for 1,213 yards and nine touchdowns despite missing 22 quarters with injury. Howard missed the New Era Pinstripe Bowl with injuries.
Howard became the 11th Hoosier to rush for 1,000 yards and ranked 12th on the program's all-time single-season list. He rushed for 100 yards in 10 of his final 13 games.
