LSU running back Jeremy Hill looks like he'll be back after missing just one game.
The Baton Rouge Advocate reports that Hill will dress and "be allowed" to play for the Tigers' game against UAB on Saturday. Hill won't start, however.
LSU running back Jeremy Hill will be allowed to play Saturday in the Tigers’ home opener against UAB, a source familiar with the situation said Friday.
Hill will not start but will play in a backup role behind senior Alfred Blue and possibly after fellow running backs Kenny Hilliard and Terrence Magee, the source said.
Hill was in uniform and on the sidelines for the Tigers' game against TCU in Dallas, but did not play. He pled guilty to simple battery in July for a bar fight in April when he punched a man in the back of the head. At the time of that incident, he was also on probation from an incident with a 14-year-old while he was in high school, where he was charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Last year, Hill ran for 755 yards and 12 touchdowns.
