Remember the picture of North Carolina State players Asa Watson and Cole Blankenship eating lunch that went viral earlier this week?
It was posted by someone sitting at a table near them after Watson and Blankenship joined the man on the left. Now we know how they know each other.
The man on the left is Will Spence, and he and Watson have been friends for a while, according to ABC-11 in Raleigh. Spence just happened to arrive at the table before Watson and Blankenship did.
According to the station, the three didn't know that their photo had been taken, and they're not sure who it was that did. So while it's not the spur-of-the-moment happening that the person taking the photo thought it was, it's still pretty cool too see people from different backgrounds and experiences enjoying lunch together.
