With the biggest Iron Bowl in recent history on tap this weekend, the Auburn Church of Christ is preparing to help its parishioners move forward with the same advice no matter the result of the game between No. 4 Auburn and No. 1 Alabama.
Sunday's Sermon: Humility We'll Either Have It Or Need It"
The annual game between Alabama’s largest public schools has more on the line this year than ever before. The winner will play in the SEC title game and the outcome could affect the BCS national championship.
Alabama fans expected their team to be in a position to play for a third consecutive national championship this year, but for Auburn fans, this is an unexpected surprise.
The Tigers were 3-9 last season and this is head coach Gus Malzahn’s first year. But the Tigers head into this pivotal game 10-1 with eyes on their second national championship berth since 2010.
