Anyone who follows college football knows that the yearly Ohio State-Michigan rivalry game is a big deal. This is certainly no secret to Ohio Governor John Kasich, an Ohio State graduate.
Kasich went so far as to sign a resolution that makes Saturday Nov. 30, the day the Buckeyes square off with Michigan in Ann Arbor, “Scarlet Letter Saturday.” The resolution encourages all Ohioans “to avoid using the letter ‘M’ when possible.” Seriously. Take a look.
Having a little fun with THE rivalry. To*orrow, Ohio goes without a letter in the alphabet. #Buckeyes pic.twitter.com/eXzLhcS7z9

This comes just a few days after Kasich took a moment to talk some trash on the Wolverines saying that Michigan “better start looking for a new rival” since OSU beats them “like a drum every single year,” among other things.
The Buckeyes have won eight of the last 10 meetings, but the Wolverines did pull out the win in 2011, so Kasich isn’t completely accurate. It’s easy for Kasich to be confident this year, as the undefeated Buckeyes are big favorites on the road.
I guess there aren't many other things for the Governor to be concerned with in Ohio this week.
