Alabama coach Nick Saban had a shindig for recruits at his home this past weekend and apparently things got a little exciting.
Saban, who is often referred to as someone who doesn’t know how to have fun, was filmed showing off his dance skills while doing the Electric Slide.
The brother of four-star linebacker recruit Rashaan Evans apparently took the Vine. Evans is considering the Tide, Auburn and UCLA.
And if Saban’s dancing didn’t convince Evans to join the Crimson Tide, perhaps the singing of offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin did the trick. Kiffin sang “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd much to the delight of the crowd.
"It made the night. It was the talk of the night," Donetris Scarbrough, the mother of 5-star prospect and Alabama commit, Bo Scarbrough, told 247sports.
It’s hard to knock Alabama’s recruiting weekend tactics. The Tide currently boasts the nation’s No. 1 class, according to Rivals.com, and has had the nation’s No. 1 class every year since 2011.
Perhaps that’s because Saban’s recruiting pitch is electric (boogie, oogie, oogie).
