We’ve seen no shortage of alternate uniforms and helmets over the past few seasons, and now Kentucky is getting into the mix.
Freshman quarterback Drew Barker, an early enrollee who has been on campus in Lexington for a few weeks, posted a photo of himself wearing an all-gray with white lettering and the classic Kentucky blue on the shoulder pads.
It’s a pretty sharp look, but one that the school hasn’t indicated that these uniforms will be worn for a game any time soon. In fact, a recruit actually tweeted a photo of the uniforms last summer with a matching gray helmet to complete the look.
The only thing that’s missing with the gray uniforms is the logoed thigh pads from October.
