Members of the Texas Tech football team competed in an impressive slam dunk competition Tuesday night during halftime of the Red Raiders' game against Kansas.

Walk-on wide receiver Clancy David took home the title with a 360 dunk, beating a teammate who dunked with a so-so leap over a kneeling Raider Red. David told TexasTechTV he got his jumping ability from his dad.

Some members of the team were given score cards to hold up after each dunk and one of David's teammates somehow wasn't impressed, giving him a 7 for the winning performance. Perhaps the judge in question felt he had to hold up his card each time regardless. He gave a lot of sevens.

It made a for an entertaining halftime during what was one of the most memorable games of Tubby Smith's short tenure in Lubbock. The Red Raiders came up just short of upsetting the No. 8 Jayhawks and earning their first win over a top-10 team in five years. Kansas won 64-63 on a last second offensive rebound and put back by freshman Andrew Wiggins.
