On Monday, Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald did his annual duty of throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field prior to the game between the Cubs and the Atlanta Braves.
Fitzgerald also led the crowd in an off-key version of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame." It must not have been too bad though because the Cube won 5-1.
There was no word on whether the Cubs allowed Fitzgerald to bring his team onto the field to practice for next year's dizzy bat race.
