Purdue defensive end Gelen Robinson was arrested early Saturday for drunk driving, according to GoldandBlack.com.
The 20-year-old Robinson was booked into Tippecanoe County Jail at 3:49 a.m. Saturday. He was also charged with illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage.
Robinson had previously been cited for minor consumption in August 2014 and had a court date for that incident scheduled for next month.
Robinson played in 11 games as a true freshman for the Boilermakers last season, registering 20 tackles and two sacks. The 6-foot-1, 250-pound Robinson was a four-star recruit in the 2014 class and was in line to start in 2015.
